As Executive Design Director at Blacktop, Paul is focused on bringing a Design approach to everything the group creates. This starts with better understanding the way people actually live in relation to the brands they love. He applies this understanding on behalf of both Barkley and Blacktop clients, and works with teams throughout the agency to create more genuine brand interactions. When Paul isn't working, he steals time to make handcrafted banjos in his basement shop at home. His instruments have been shipped across the US and abroad to clients in Canada, Europe and Australia.
Paul’s design work has been recognized by the One Show, the Effie Awards, Print Design Annual, SXSW, the Webby Awards, the National Addy Awards, Creativity magazine, HOW magazine and the FWA.
